Ten series of the meeting have been successfully organized with thousands of participants from more than one hundred different countries in Türkiye and TRNC up to now.

Although the main topic of the symposium is all aspects of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs), Herbs and Spices, Non-wood Forest Products (NWFPs); Aromatherapy, Phytotherapy, Phytochemistry, Pharmacognosy, Phytopharmacology and Toxicology are also within the scope of this globally recognized high quality scientific event. While the former series of MESMAP were organized in Türkiye, the international organizing committee decided to organize the meeting in another country in 2025. Thus, “The 11th International Mediterranean Symposium on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MESMAP-11)” will be hosted by MACFRUT-2025 & Spices and Herbs Global Expo during May 6-8, 2025 in Rimini, Italy. The scientific sessions will take place in Rimini - Expo Centre Meeting Halls. MESMAP-11 will be organized with the participation of around one hundred scientists presenting their oral and poster presentations from 24 different countries such as Türkiye, Italy, Thailand, China, Poland, Croatia, TRNC, India, Pakistan, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, UK, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Albania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Slovenia, Bulgaria.
